How LED emergency power supply works with LED driver together?

LED emergency power supply is becoming increasingly important in both the international and domestic markets, especially in public places where emergency lighting is required. There are different types of LED emergency power products available, and the choice depends on the specific requirements of the lighting installation.
Some LED emergency power drivers function by converting the energy stored in the battery pack into mains power after a power failure. In this case, the original drive power source is still required to provide a constant current source for illuminating the LED luminaire.
Other LED emergency power products, provide a DC low voltage output after a power failure. These products can automatically identify the serial number of lamps and adjust the output voltage accordingly. If the luminaire is only used for emergency lighting and does not require mains illumination, the LED constant current source can be eliminated.
If the LED light source needs to provide illumination both during mains supply and power failure, the drive power supply must be present.
During the lighting process of the mains, Naips’ emergency power supply continuously charges the battery pack without affecting the normal lighting function of the LED light source.

It is important to note that if the LED light source is used solely for emergency lighting, it can be driven without a constant current source, but only if no lighting is required during the mains state and only in the event of a power outage.
It is not recommended to cancel the driving power and directly connect the LED light source to the LED emergency power output port, as the high voltage output from the emergency power supply can damage the light board or lamp beads.
Currently, integrating the drive power and emergency power in the same board is not feasible due to limitations in power, structure, and other factors. The development of integrated power supply boards for emergency lighting is still in progress.
